Introduction

Star Wars has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I first discovered Star Wars sometime in 2008, a little more than 30 years after the release of the iconic, A New Hope. I was only eight years old at the time but I became invested in the franchise immediately. I began by watching the originals because let's be honest, starting with the originals is the only way to enter the Star Wars universe. Obviously I became invested in this vast world that had so many great characters so I proceeded to watch the prequels. I will say, being quite young at the time, I didn't pick up on some of the cheesy plotlines and flawed dialogue that I can recognize in the prequels today so my opinion of them differs quite greatly from a lot of Star Wars fans. Nonetheless, I have always enjoyed the prequels and the characters introduced in them. Now before anyone clicks away because of my unpopular opinion, just know that The Clone Wars was released at the perfect time in the mind of a kid just getting into Star Wars and that tv show (and yes... even the movie) absolutely engulfed my life. It essentially made me appreciate the entire franchise AND the characters in the prequels more than I had before which likely played a role in the fact that I have never disliked the "Anakin prior to Vader era" movies. Just recently I decided to rewatch all the movies and got caught up on The Clone Wars and it revived my love for Star Wars so I decided to get into the books as well. I have only read one full-length book and then about a handful of comics but that's why I wanted to make this blog. This blog is gonna be focused on my journey through the Star Wars universe so I'll be reviewing everything from legends and canon books to new episodes of Star Wars shows and even video games... what I'm saying is I'll pretty much dive into anything Star Wars on here. I'm pretty excited to be doing this so I hope you'll follow along with me if any of this interests you!
